Glenn Sugiyama on panel to choose “Most Powerful Women in Sports”

Glenn Sugiyama, managing partner and leader of DHR International’s Sports Practice Group, was selected to be part of a voting panel to select Forbes 25 Most Powerful Women in Sports. Racing heiress Lesa France Kennedy topped the list, followed by Michele Roberts, president of the NBA Players Association, and Christine Driessen, EVP and Chief Financial Officer of ESPN. McMillen named president, CEO of Division 1A Athletic Directors’ Association

Tim McMillen was recently named as the new president and CEO of the Division 1A Athletic Directors’ Association. He was placed by Glenn Sugiyama, managing partner of DHR International’s Sports Practice. McMillen is a former congressman and regent at the University of Maryland. He has given himself 45 days to establish a strategic plan for the association and is going to use that time to talk to athletic directors and establish a deeper understanding of their needs from a trade group.
